Knjiga je sestavljena iz dveh pripovedi. Ena je lepa pravljična o odraščanju deklice na manjši kmetiji. Katica je imela težave z učenjem branja in pomaga ji poseben prijazen gospod. Druga pripoved je zgodba Generala Maistra. V njej izvemo več o njegovem življenju in o njegovih domoljubnih podvigih.
Knjiga je sestavljena iz dveh pripovedi. Ena je lepa pravljična o odraščanju deklice na manjši kmetiji. Katica je imela težave z učenjem branja in pomaga ji poseben prijazen gospod. Druga pripoved je zgodba Generala Maistra. V njej izvemo več o njegovem življenju in o njegovih domoljubnih podvigih.
